Description:

Position Purpose

The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit.

What you will do

  • Performs M.R.I. examinations, contributing to the efficient operation of the department and promoting the philosophy, to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care.

  • Provides direct patient care to all ages of patients, particularly focusing on the adult patient. Position may require working at either campus or access center.

  • The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education : American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Must be graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

  • Licensure : Registered American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, with MRI certification (or obtained within (1) one year of hire date), Current Connecticut License.
