MORE ABOUT THE LPN LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE POSITION:

CareerStaff Unlimited partners with companies around the country to raise the bar in healthcare by setting new standards for quality care and personalized service. Responsibilities for this Licensed Practical Nurse opportunity include, but are not limited to:

• Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image

• Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations

• Provide a basic level of general nursing care to forensic clients, patients, and inmates with mental, emotional, or developmental disabilities

• Provide care under the clinical direction of a registered nurse or physician

• Respond to medical emergencies within the correctional facility, providing immediate care and coordinating with other healthcare and security staff

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting assessments, interventions, and communication with inmates

• Advocate for the health and well-being of inmates, ensuring that their healthcare needs are addressed appropriately

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE LPN LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE:

• 1+ years of corrections experience

• BLS issued through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

• Must be eligible to work in the United States

• LPN license in Alabama or compact license
