ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK OPPORTUNITY WITH GROWTH POTENTIAL IN HAPPAUGE

Anna Parson at Robert Half is seeking a sharp Accounts Payable Clerk with some experience in Accounts Payable Processing to join a growing Construction Services client. Opportunity offer Excellent Benefits, Great Mentor and Growth Potential for a candidate that is smart and eager to learn!

As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will:

• Accurately process, review and code invoices in a timely and accurate manner

• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure all financial data is correct and there are no over or under payments

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other software to maintain and update financial records

• Manage vendor relationships effectively, resolving any issues or inquiries

• Handle credit card reconciliation duties to ensure all expenses are accounted for

• Code invoices correctly to ensure they are allocated to the right accounts

• Continually improve invoice processing procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Account Reconciliation

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures

• Proven experience in Coding Invoices

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks

• Prior experience in Invoice Processing

• Ability to manage Credit Card Reconciliation tasks

• Experience in managing Vendor Relationships

• Proven skills to Reconcile Vendor Statements

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
