LEAD INTEGRATION TECHNICIAN (STAGE 2 INTEGRATION) - 2ND SHIFT
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure all resources are assigned prior to official start of shift with technicians allocated and aligned per the skill matrix
Update written job hazard assessments on a weekly basis
Review pass-down, and update lead board with pertinent information
Monitor consumables usage
Ensure all technicians are clocked into production work orders and working to the defined process time
Coordinate support for organization efforts to minimize production interruptions
Conduct communication briefing at start of shift with technicians
Schedule risk identification and mitigation
Troubleshoot vehicle assembly issues
Assist with the development of production processes for first time production yield
Perform work according to procedures, specifications and test instructions
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent certificate
3+ years of experience working in an aerospace, aviation, automotive, or other manufacturing environment in a technical, hands-on capacity or assembly role
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
1+ year of experience at SpaceX
Experience in the aerospace industry, aviation, military or other high-reliability operating environment
FAA Airframe and power plant license
Experience in fast-paced production environment with flight hardware
Knowledge of pressure, temperature and flow measurement devices, mechanical and electrical systems, and propulsion engines
Skill in operating and manipulating machinery and various hand and power tools requiring manual dexterity
Demonstrated ability in reading/understanding technical drawings, manuals and reports
Ability to use precision measuring instruments
Experience working in a cleanroom environment
Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high-paced, challenging work environment
Ability to effectively lead in a team environment
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted
Must be willing to travel up to 5%
Must be able to climb ladders and be comfortable working in tight spaces
Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends hours as needed
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay range:
Lead Integration Technician/Level 3: $30.00 - $38.00/hour + $2.00/hour lead differential
Lead Integration Technician/Level 4: $35.00 - $43.00/hour + $2.00/hour lead differential
Lead Integration Technician/Level 5: $40.00 - $50.00/hour + $2.00/hour lead differential
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
