Administration is responsible for performing a variety of administrative activities in support of functional areas or for specific projects.
Job Summary
Under general direction of the Vice President of Research and Development and/or Director of Facilities, this position is responsible for providing administrative assistance for the local R&D team and leadership team. This position is based in the Hazelwood, MO office.
Responsibilities
Assist with general copy, filing, shipping, coordinating mail and distribution of documents.
Coordinate with Mansfield Admin to help maintain department org charts/headcount accurate.
Support department with international travel requests, international Visa applications, expense reports, and other related travel needs.
Order and maintain site general office supply inventory.
Interface with IT for network, copy, fax or printer related issues.
Maintain printer/copier ink supplies.
Assist in planning RD town hall meetings, annual recognition events and larger scale team building events. This includes booking meeting rooms for local team and working meeting/ lunch requests.
Support managers with on-boarding of new hires at the local site.
Assist with new employee computer, credit card, travel profile.
Administrative support of P-Card statements.
Create and submit purchase order requisitions and follow-up.
Assist with capital requests.
Qualifications
High School diploma/GED preferred
4- 6 years work experience in related field preferred
Strong ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, ability to be adaptable
Proficient in MS Office programs and Outlook preferred
Excellent customer service skills preferred
What is expected of you and others at this level
Provide administrative support to Vice President and leadership team onsite
Manage all front reception area needs for site location
Effectively applies knowledge of job and company policies and procedures to complete a variety of assignments
In-depth knowledge in technical or specialty area
Applies advanced skills to resolve complex problems independently
May modify process to resolve situations
Works independently within established procedures; may receive general guidance on new assignments
May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members
Anticipated hourly range: $21.20 per hour - $31.71 per hour
