Our company is looking to add a new addition as a Full-Time Financial Reporting Manager in Hazelwood, Missouri. This is a hybrid position and candidates will need to reside in the Saint Louis, Missouri Metropolitan area to be considered for this opportunity.

The Financial Reporting Manager will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, producing accurate and timely financial statements, managing monthly accounting close, and implementing internal controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Oversee the monthly accounting close process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insightful explanations for financial performance to senior management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Prepare and review reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and accruals.
  • Manage the annual external audit process, including coordination with auditors, and preparation of audit schedules and development.
  • Support strategic financial initiatives, such as mergers and acquisitions, capital Investments, and system implementations.
  • Work with Controller and CFO with ad hoc projects and analysis.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

**Job Requirements:

Skills Required:**

  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial accounting purposes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends and anomalies.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamics environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Travel and Work Conditions:

  • Primarily sedentary.
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Resides in the Saint Louis, MO Metropolitan area with the ability to work a hybrid work schedule.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • CPA required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Jet Reports is highly preferred.

Work Authorization:

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without any type of work authorization or work sponsorship now or in the future.
