Avionics Technician

Job Description

Join our team as an Avionics Technician where you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of aircraft, from light jets and pistons to turboprops and rotorcraft. You'll perform avionics repairs and installations on various platforms, including two-seater Piper Cubs up to Embraer ERJ-145s. This role involves working with systems from Garmin, Bendix/King, Honeywell, Avidyne, and Aspen. You will also perform testing using equipment such as IFR-4000, IFR-6000, and AirData Test Set. This position offers a contract-to-direct opportunity, with the potential for direct hire around 6 months based on performance and attitude.

Hard Skills

  • Minimum of 2+years’ avionics experience

  • Driver’s License

  • Own tools

  • Avionics Modifications

  • Avionics Troubleshooting

  • Experience with Corporate Jets

  • Knowledge of General Aviation Aircraft

  • Familiarity with Regional Jets

  • Proficiency with Garmin and Glass Cockpit systems

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Henderson, Nevada.

Work Environment

Work will be conducted in a hangar cooled with swamp coolers, spread across 5 different hangars. The shift pattern consists of 5x8 hours, with start times varying. Some overtime may be required depending on business demands.
