Need 14 full time, seasonal, temporary Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Drivers to work in Hendricks, MN and travelling to (see itinerary below). Job starts and ends in Minnesota. From: 03/15/2024 - 12/15/2024 Work: 52 hrs./week, Mon.-Thurs 9hrs./day, and Fri.-Sat.8 hrs./day Travelling to KS, SD, WI, TX, MT, NE, OK, ND Wages vary depending upon state worked in (see below). Pay increase or bonus may be possible based on experience and merit. In Minnesota only: hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half. Must Apply By: 07/31/2024 NOTE: JOB DUTIES: Operation of various tractors and farm equipment to harvest a variety of grain and oilseed crops and transport crops to elevator or storage area. Job also requires changing combine cutting heads; performing general maintenance, repairs and/or clean-up of storage sheds and all farm equipment; ensuring operational areas are organized and well maintained; using hand tools and equipment to repair, clean and maintain vehicles, machinery and specialized machinery and agricultural equipment; and regularly servicing equipment. This position requires exposure to extreme temperatures, and extensive sitting or walking. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and/or locations often and engage in various general functions. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 6 months experience; must have or be able to obtain CDL; drug screening may be done post hire at the employer's expense to ensure safety on and around the worksites; no minimum education requirement. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
