The proposed salary range for this New York state based role is $24.04 - $37.50.

SUMMARY:

To assist the maintenance manager in the direction, planning and scheduling of functions in the maintenance department in a safe, hazard free work environment while selectively supervising personnel, quality, and equipment conditions in a cost-effective manner. In addition, assisting with any MIS and environmental issues as well as special projects as directed by the manager, plant maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintenance Collaboration- Collaborate with maintenance technicians’ activities. Manages the CMMS information database to generate work orders with maintenance department. Overall management for parts inventory. Align with management team on suppliers to meet production and financial objectives.

Planning and Scheduling - Collects and coordinates information using job surveys to develop work order packages for planned maintenance activities and negotiates and integrates maintenance schedules with production schedules to complete implementation. Manage data in the CMMS to provide asset reliability improvement initiatives and key indicator reports.

Process Improvement - Organize vendors to integrate their services with asset reliability process. Facilitate preventive and predictive maintenance strategies and formats to improve maintenance effectiveness and overall asset reliability. Conduct brainstorming sessions with key operators, technicians, and managers using root cause analysis to provide action plans for problem resolution.

Project Management - Utilize consultants, engineering, technical and management support to achieve department and organizational strategies. Utilize other available software to assist maintenance organization in project management such as PLC and servo programming software.

Human Resource Development - Develop and maintain required training materials to support asset reliability initiatives and subsequent maintenance related activities. Lead class room training and shop floor coaching.

Quality and Customer Satisfaction - Properly schedule maintenance activities with safety and quality work orders.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma and 5 years industry experience OR 2 years Technical degree and 3 years industry experience

• Extensive proficiency and understanding of PC based programs and mainframe-based information systems (CMMS, OEM Parts Systems, Internet Part Searching, etc.)

• Microsoft Suite applications experience (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)

• Experience troubleshooting and can demonstrate: Electrical schematics, Mechanical systems, PLCs, Air Compressors, Hydraulic systems
