Continental Toyota Rental Department Supervisor in Hodgkins, Illinois
Common Responsibilities: * Hiring, training and supervising staff. * Managing inventory and availability of vehicles * Take reservations and explain the terms of the rental agreements. * Complete paperwork, update computer records and take payments. * Record a vehicle's condition and make notes of any existing bumps, scratches etc. * Setting and monitoring rates, discounts and promotions based on market demand. * Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay informed about industry developments. * Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures * Communicating with insurance company to verify coverage * Provide weekly Rental Receivables schedule to Office Manager and discuss any discrepancies or inaccuracies. * Monitor physical inventory * Provide inventory schedule at month end. * Assist with other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Strong organizational and multitasking skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Proficient in Excel and other relevant software applications * Ability to analyze market trends and make strategic recommendations * Great customer service skills is a must. * Rental Car Management Required. * Must be able to work Saturdays.
