WestRock Company Multi-Site Maintenance Administrator in Holland, Michigan

WestRock is looking for a Multi-Site Maintenance Administrator to support our Allegan and Holland, MI locations.

Pay is cumulative with experience.

Role is not eligible for Sponsorship.

Career Opportunity:

Assist the maintenance department manager by providing administrative assistance. Support maintenance workflow.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintains daily work order spreadsheets.

  • Logs incoming materials and machine parts into inventory control software system.

  • Organize incoming parts.

  • Updates inventory control software with parts used and ensures purchasing reorders low items.

  • Maintains Preventative Maintenance software system, logs information and aids in scheduling work due.

  • Assists other Westrock facilities with maintenance software selection and implementation.

  • Assists in the development of the PM program

  • Assists with contractor pricing reviews and scheduling

  • Tracks direct purchases (field PO’s) and collects receipts.

  • Maintains department metrics - KPI’s including safety data and work order tracking.

  • Schedules and prepares agenda for department meetings.

  • Sets department meetings and appointments.

  • Answers phones, sorts and distributes mail. Maintains department communications.

  • Facilitates department workflow - occasionally dispatching emergency repairs.

  • Works with other facility staff to complete special assignments as needed--for example, researching PM software, writing an evacuation plan, etc.

  • Performs other job duties as assigned.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • General knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment.

  • Ability to prioritize work to meet production needs.

  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend complex instructions, correspondences and memos.

  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.

  • Personal computer skills including electronic mail, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, etc.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and able to learn CMMS software.

  • Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods including, but not limited to telephone communications, office systems, and record keeping.

  • Ability to answer the telephone and provide information/assistance to customers.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors.

  • Must be able to function with minimal supervision and use independent judgment to achieve assigned objectives.
