The Ride Operator is responsible for safe operation of the ride, which includes safely and efficiently load and unload guests on to the attraction while providing superior guest service.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently loading and unloading guests on to the attraction.

  • Ensuring guests comply with and meet all safety restrictions of the attraction. Demonstrating knowledge of the ride’s “Standard Operating Procedures”, which include ensuring guests’ are safely secured prior to enabling the attraction.

  • Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the attraction facility both guest facing and back of house.

  • Distribute, collect, sort, and clean 3D glasses.

  • Promptly and efficiently ensuring ‘Gate A’ pass holders are loaded into the attraction. Ensuring guests with special needs are accommodated.

  • Greeting and interacting with guests as they enter and when waiting at the preload. As guests exit the attraction, saying good bye, wishing them a good day etc.

  • Promoting and providing extraordinary guest service for both internal and external guests; answering questions and offering information in a courteous manner as well as seeking to provide assistance to guests.

  • Utilizing themed interaction with the guests to provide a unique and encompassing experience.

  • Understanding and demonstrating the proper use of safety practices and ensuring department standards are maintained and safety policies for the park are upheld.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities:

Must be 18 years old or older

Job Demands:

  • Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time

  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistance

  • The noise level is generally moderate to high

  • Team Members are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to: heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather. Depending on the assigned location, work can be almost exclusively outdoors

Schedule: Must be available to work at least 4 days per week throughout the peak seasons to include a rotation of mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay : $18 per hour (After 1,000 hours worked, pay increases to $20/hr)
