Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician to join our team. The NDT Technician will be responsible for conducting various non-destructive tests to ensure the integrity and quality of our steel products. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a thorough understanding of testing techniques, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform non-destructive tests (NDT) using techniques such as ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), radiographic testing (RT), and liquid penetrant testing(PT).

• Interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with applicable standards and specifications.

• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports of test results.

• Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

• Assist in the development and implementation of NDT procedures and protocols.

• Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and processes to ensure safety and efficiency.

• Provide technical support and training to team members as needed.

• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in NDT is preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in NDT,

• preferably in a steel fabrication environment.

• Certification in one or more NDT methods (e.g., UT, MT, RT, PT) is required.

• Strong knowledge of industry standards and specifications (e.g., ASME, ASTM, AWS).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
