PART TIME OVERVIEW

The part time will have the opportunity to learn about the functions of the Law Department and assist with a variety of work relating to the development, asset management and operational functions for Marriott in the Asia-Pacific region.

DESIRED SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Law students (at least year 2 or higher)

  • Currently attending an internationally recognized university.

  • Fluency in spoken and written English (and ideally, Mandarin).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; attention to detail, diligence, dependability and high integrity are key factors.

  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing general team assistance to team attorneys and paralegals in the execution of all aspects of hotel transactions.

  • Drafting, reviewing and amending basic agreements.

  • Maintaining templates, transactions checklists and key contact lists.

  • Assisting with Law Department initiatives.

  • Creating, maintaining and updating legal database.

  • Conducting and summarizing legal research.

  • Performing other duties and special projects.
