Hyatt Openings & Transitions Coordinator (12 months contractor) in HONG KONG, China

Description:

The Openings and Transitions Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and facilitating the smooth execution of new openings and transitions within our organization. This role will collaborate with various departments to ensure successful project management, timely communication, and efficient coordination to achieve seamless transitions.

Support the Openings and Transitions team for administrative matters, including the preparation of PowerPoint presentations, report templates, and coordination and consolidation of surveys.

Organize and coordinate regional meetings and appointments.

Arrange travel, visas, and accommodation, and provide general assistance during presentations as assigned.

Prepare and translate correspondences in Chinese and English.

Coordinate logistics and resources required for new openings.

Assist in liaising, communicating, and coordinating with Owner representatives, Hotel General Manager, and other colleagues professionally whenever needed.

Provide support to on-site teams during openings and transitions, ensuring a seamless transition for the hotel.

Assist in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Human Resources, Finance, and Technical Services, to ensure a coordinated and well-executed opening or transition plan.

Coordinate monthly Pre-opening or Post-opening Live Calls with hotels.

Carry out specific projects and research as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience

• Proven experience in project management, preferably in the hospitality or related industry. •

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.

Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job

• Good competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and Word)•
