Aon is currently recruiting a Director - Financial Services & Professions Group to join our team in Hong Kong.

What the day will look like

  • Management of financial lines clients and development of new business. Such includes:

  • Client Servicing - including advice, broking, placement, claims monitoring and management

  • Broking and Placement - including design, structure and negotiate insurance contracts

  • Building and maintaining strong and long-standing client relationship

  • Collaborating with colleagues as Aon United either to cross sell financial lines products or to create opportunities for colleagues

  • Provide support to the line manager from time to time as required

  • Any additional duties that may be allocated to you by the Company from time to time

    How this opportunity is different

    The job incumbent will be attached to our Financial Institutions team and responsible for broking and placement of various kinds of financial lines insurance products including but not limited to Investment Managers, Directors and Officers, IPO, Professional Indemnity, Crime and Cyber.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • University graduate, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Law or Risk Management/Insurance

  • At least 10 years’ experience in insurance, banking, financial or funds industry

  • Good analytics and connection with the financial industry

  • Strong client management skills to manage C-suite, senior executives and professionals

  • Mature, independent, self-motivated and be able to work under pressure

  • Proficient in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin

  • Good command of computer skills including MS Office applications

  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Manager or Associate Director
