AON Senior Manager - GI Claims in Hong Kong, Hong Kong

Senior Manager , ABS Claims

Aon is currently recruiting a Senior Manager to join our team in Hong Kong. What the day will look like

  • Supervises team as they handle and assess claims including reviewing and approving adjuster reports as well as preparation of claim payments, ensuring KPIs are met.

  • Leverage data to provide insights on claim portfolio, insurer performance and review processes

  • Management of claims under scheme / binder (ABB & JB) for clients including the appointment of third-party service providers such as loss adjusters

  • Continuous review of claims operations workflow to ensure processes are streamlined using best available technology, data and arrangement with insurers

  • Provide claims update and reports to senior leadership and business units

  • Supervision and development of junior claims staff

  • Other tasks assigned by the Head of Business Support

  • 6-8 years insurance related work experience of which at least 4 years claims GI experience in insurance company

  • All classes of commercial lines insurance preferred, including but not limited to EC, Travel, Motor, PPL, Medical, PDBI, PAR, Marine Cargo, CAR

  • Has some team management experience

  • Degree holder with IIQE qualified or holder of ACII or ANZIIF (Associate) preferred

  • Team work is essential whilst being proactive and working independently

  • Accurate interpretation of policy wordings precisely and apply the same to real claim cases

  • Ability to understand and apply data analysis to risk management issues

  • Must be able to work with data and present information in clear manner

  • Experience in handling in high-volume in a fast-paced environment

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (preferably Cantonese)

  • Good computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
