Description

We are looking for a meticulous Bookkeeper to join our team in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry based in Honolulu, Hawaii. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This role requires a high degree of precision, proficiency in various financial management software, and an ability to work efficiently without compromising accuracy or integrity. Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, and expense reports

• Implement and maintain systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information

• Prepare financial statements and reports for internal use by the team

• Keep a thorough record of business transactions and verify that they are recorded accurately in the general ledger

• Perform monthly end close procedures and postings

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting purposes

• Use AppFolio software to manage property and portfolio data

• Prepare and maintain cash flow statements to ensure proper capitalization of assets

• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Review and process invoices and receipts to ensure accurate and timely payment and recording.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Skilled in Bank Reconciliations

• Proficiency in Bookkeeping

• Strong Data Entry skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with AppFolio software

• Ability to create and analyze Cash Flow Statements

• Previous experience in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry is desirable

• Solid understanding of general accounting principles

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be organized and able to multitask effectively

• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
