Here's how an Estimating Student Intern contributes to our team:

Responsibilities

• Reviews and performs quantity survey assignment with lead or head estimator.

• Performs general sub-trade solicitation duties.

• Assists with bid document control.

• Performs bid-day assignments as per lead estimator.

• Supports updating and maintenance of subtrade database information.

• Use of in-house estimating software (BEST Estimating).

• Visits job sites periodically.

• Develops relationships with all stakeholders.

• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Seeking a bachelor's degree or associate's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field.

• GPA of 3.0 or above.

• Desire to pursue a career in the construction industry after graduation.

• Ability to learn, understand, and/or apply basic construction principles to problem solve.

• Clear verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and subcontractors.

The salary range for this position is $22 - $26 per hour.
