Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking a skilled Technical Portfolio Manager with exceptional IT portfolio management process and methodologies experience to contribute toward the success of our Cloud Portfolio of products. Oversees compliance with all processes and procedures associated with our Cloud transformation. Understands key business objectives and strategy of the product and supports other Portfolio Managers and Stakeholders in meeting business objectives. Responsible for independently and objectively directing and managing the overall work efforts of multiple business line application teams. Manages a portfolio of projects from initial concept through post implementation per methodology and via approved project tools. Capable of utilizing sub-projects within master projects, building advanced views of project dashboards. Able to address and mitigate issues via direct one-on-one dialog with project resources. Develops relationships with key stakeholders. Authors project management artifacts, including effective, clear, concise and relevant communication. Promotes collaborative relationships across project team members. Works effectively across the organization to achieve goals. Manages program/project team size of more than 30 team members.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • At least 7 years experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling IT projects.

Experience Should Include:

  • Basic knowledge of Cloud Fundamentals including Platform service offerings and activities for migrating from on-prem to Cloud.

  • In-depth knowledge of project management discipline

  • Hands on knowledge and experience with agile, product, and DevOps theories, principles and practices

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a complex environment.

  • Experience working with senior managers and subject matter experts.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organization levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability is critical.

  • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications.

  • Ability to present to decision makers in a professional and confident manner.

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $129,455.00 - $152,300.00 - $167,530.00
