Job Description
To maintain the highest standards possible for the guest by insuring quick, efficient, and professional Room Service.
Responsibilities
Must have complete knowledge of service time, menu, and any specials.
Prepare, deliver, and service orders.
Always inquire if additional service is needed.
Responsible for each check.
Responsible for pick-up tables and trays.
Responsible for set-up, delivery and presentation of VIP amenity.
Must consult with supervisor on any food pick-up difficulty.
Complete all side work duties as assigned.
Attend all designated staff meetings and training session
Any other task as assigned by management
Tools and Equipment:
Coffee maker/urn, toaster, microwave, beverage machines, bus trays, dishware, silverware, glassware, queen-mary cart, telephone, pen/pencil, photo-copying machine
Walk-in refrigerator, Room Service tables, and hot box.
Working Environment:
Interior of hotel, in the restaurant, kitchen and guestroom. Exposure to extreme temperatures.
Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.
Exposure to food items and beverages.
Qualifications
Good communication skills both written and verbal
Enthusiastic and friendly with a positive attitude
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Prior food and beverage experience preferred but not required.
Must be able to lift, push, and pull at least 30 lbs
Must have valid ServSafe and Tips Certification or can obtain such valid certification prior to working
C an walk and stand for the duration of the 8-10 hour shift
