Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer Practice Leader to lead a team of 9 Electrical Engineers. The role involves assisting in production review, attending project meetings, and mentoring junior engineers. You will interact with clients, run client meetings, and work on acquiring new clients. Proficiency in REVIT production checking and execution of large-scale commercial architecture/MEP projects is required.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of 9 Electrical Engineers.
Assist in production review and attend project meetings.
Mentor junior engineers.
Interact with clients and run client meetings.
Acquire new clients.
Check REVIT production and perform some production tasks.
Understand the full scope of projects and run project-related meetings.
Execute large-scale commercial architecture/MEP projects.
Essential Skills
Licensed PE in Electrical Engineering - Any state.
Experience on large-scale commercial projects valued at $20 million or more.
7+ years of MEP Electrical Engineering experience.
Familiarity with REVIT.
Excellent communication skills for client interaction and business development.
Leadership experience managing a team of at least 5 engineers.
Proficiency in REVIT MEP and Electrical project management.
Work Environment
You will be part of a team of 22 engineers, leading a subset of 9 Electrical Engineers. This role requires working in an office environment from Monday to Friday, with occasional domestic and international travel (20% travel during the business week). The office is located at 3200 Southwest Fwy #900, Houston, TX. You will work closely with the mechanical practice leader.
