Xylem Service Manager in Houston, Texas

This role will manage the daily operations for a proves and wastewater treatment facility located in the Nederland, Texas area. This facility will treat up to 4500 gallons per minute of process water and similar quantities of wastewater. The role of this person is to lead a team of shift operators, maintenance technician, and other local support to meet the needs of the customer and expand on the current relationship with this client.

The responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:

  • Site performance and quality KPIs.

  • Communication with the client.

  • Site financial responsibilities and budgeting.

  • Leading the local onsite team of operators.

  • Maintaining a high level of safety and compliance for the facility.

Qualifications for this position:

  • Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Engineering, or related fields of study is highly preferred.

  • Technical degrees and appropriate experience will also be considered.

  • Experience:

  • Water treatment experience of five years or more is highly desired.

  • Wastewater treatment is preferred.

  • Experience in people leading of no less than five years is highly desired.

  • Travel:

  • 20% travel is expected. However, post-hire, the travel for training will be closer to 50-60% for several months.

Salary range:

$70,500.00 - $126,500.00
