Overview: The eCommerce Sales Support Specialist is responsible for working in close partnership with Credit, Distribution, and Operations to process sales orders through the site and assist customers during the purchase cycle. The eCommerce Sales Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams, including eCommerce, Sales, Customer Service, and Order Fulfillment, to help the eCommerce business achieve business goals.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: The eCommerce Sales Specialist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Deliver an exceptional shopping experience when assisting a customer through the online ordering process via phone, chat, or email
Maximize sales conversion through excellent customer service, product knowledge, and follow-through calls and emails to finalize sales and meet KPI
Assist customers in making buying decisions by guiding customers through the website at check-out or placing the order for the customer by phone
Process sales orders and returns accurately and efficiently
Contribute ideas and partner with eCommerce on ways to resolve problems to serve the customer better and/or improve productivity
Performance will be measured by Overall Assisted Profit to the web/phone sales Channels and Chat Satisfaction Ratings
Must be able to self-manage time as efficiently as possible to maximize sales opportunities
Ensure that customers understand product information and can provide additional information to customers as needed
Handle chat, SMS, or email requests from customers with professional and courteous sales etiquette
Assist customers via inbound and outbound phone calls
Proactively contact customers as needed to complete orders
Ensure the validity of orders and documentation received utilizing various tools
Work cross-functionally to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of orders placed
Ensure the accuracy of notes recorded in systems to ensure customer excellence
Other duties as assigned
Required Experience
- High School Diploma
Preferred Experience
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is preferred
eCommerce Sales experience or retail sales experience preferred
Ability to speak, read and write proficiently in Spanish is a plus
Skills & Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tech-savvy with solid computer and business solutions software skills.
Ability to speak, read and write proficiently in English
Strong communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to interact with individuals at all organizational levels.
Exceptional follow-up skills
Organized and detail-oriented.
Able to multi-task and shift priorities, as required
Professional in appearance and manner
Working Conditions:
Ability to work a full-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with overtime as needed.
Ability to work weekend and overtime schedules which will include various Holidays
Flexibility to work at least one to two-weekend shifts per month
Work is performed in a Call Center environment.
May require prolonged periods of sitting/standing
