Robert Half is partnering with a growing company to fill an Accountant position on a permanent basis in the Tomball, Texas area. As a Senior Accountant, you will assist an accelerated growth company with their continued expansion by defining processes and partnering with management to prepare financial statements. Additional responsibilities include account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting and audit preparation.

We are seeking an individual with exemplary analytical skills who enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced work environment in order to support the continued success of the company. Daily responsibilities include:

• Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions

• Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary

• Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations

• Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

• Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

• Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management

  Requirements

• Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the "why"

• 2+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with public accounting experience

• Strong communication and social skills

• Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

• BA/BS in Accounting

• Excel Formulas experience
