Growing and established chemical company is looking to add an Accountant to their team!

Title: Accountant

Duration: Direct Hire

Location: Downtown Houston (77002)

Focus includes:

• Responsible for P&L, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow statements

• Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts

• Help support and facilitate internal and external annual financial audits

• Support monthly forecasting and budget preparation

  Targeting candidates with:

• 2+ years of similar experience, ideally someone with public accounting and Chemical industry experience

• Bachelor’s in Accounting required

• Working knowledge of all facets of accounting- accounts payable, receivables, billing and general accounting

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong ability to build and foster rapport, must be comfortable with speaking in front of a mid-size team

• Knowledge of SAP, Chempax and Concur

• Position is onsite M-F

• Offering $75-100K depending on experience
