We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including financial management, accounts payable and receivable, and budgeting. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills and a solid understanding of financial accounting principles.

Duties:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

  • Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures

  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

  • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies

  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns and audits

  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures

  • Provide support during internal and external audits

Requirements

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related field

  • Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
