Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code

• Integration of data storage solutions – Postgres, S3

• Make the computer do exciting things

• Self-starter aiming to solve big complex problems

• Help maintain code quality, organization and automation

Skills:

• Experience with Postgres, Ruby on Rails, rspec tailwinds, hotwire/turbo/stimulus

• Solving big hairy complex problems at scale

• Creating elegance out of chaos

• Making exciting things happen for lots of users

• Strong opinionated understanding of ruby on rails

• A knack for writing clean, readable Ruby code

• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application

• Ability to create database schemas that represent and support business processes

• Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
