Logitech Quality Program Manager for Audio in Hsinchu, Taiwan

The Role

The potential candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic R&D Center, collaborating with expert teams to create great products in gaming & productivity related categories. Passion for design and development is the key, this includes creating and testing solutions to meet design goals.

  • E2E Product Quality Ownership covering all related areas from Validation(HW testing, SW/FW testing, Consumer Trial, Field Testing)Lessons Learnt,Quality KPIs, requirements etc.

  • Responsible for managing a robust & sustainable feedback loop along with a Health Metric before & after product launch thereby demonstrating a holistic ownership of Quality from Concepting to End of Life.

  • Responsible to follow and manage all world wide product test validation activities

  • Coordinate activities and communication internally between project manager and validation team.

  • Coordinate and communicate activities with internal and external partners

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the Product Quality Assurance function supporting product development and sustaining engineering teams

  • Manage, Measure and Monitor the performance of new system processes to ensure viability. Make adjustments and redirect as needed.

  • Identify quality characteristics and validation criteria for finished devices and accessories

  • Take full responsibility of ensuring the integration of quality for all design control activities including design inputs, design and development planning, design reviews, design verification and validation

  • Ensures quality risks are mitigated by driving risk management activities including authoring risk management plans, interfacing with, facilitating and mentoring engineers on system risk assessments and DFMEAs

  • Lead the selection of statistical analyses and sample size for design verification and validation and other qualification and acceptance testing

  • Lead the successful transfer of products from development to manufacturing while supporting product quality from cradle to grave.

  • Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate quality related functional activities to meet schedule and report progress to leadership

  • Interface with Customers, Suppliers, Engineering, GSM, Manufacturing and other teams across the organization both to lead Supplier Development efforts, and to resolve quality problems and provide information, through formal written reports and/or briefings

  • Drive continuous improvement in combination product and device-related quality systems and business processes

  • Collaborate with other PQA, Engineering, and other organizations within Logitech and external to author policies and procedures.

Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:

  • 10+ years of product quality/validation experience developing and launching high volume Consumer Electronic products such as computer peripherals, smartphones, tablets or complex embedded systems working both with design and manufacturing

  • Dynamic, highly motivated and self-directed leader with strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills. Must be able to lead teams and promote change.

  • Must be a team player and possess strong oral and written communication skills. Must be Fluent in English

  • Effective collaborator, experienced in creating technical partnerships with cross functional teams

  • Knowhow of Quality Tools ( 8D, DFMEA, Six Sigma ) is a plus

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Design

This is a Full Time Position & based on site in Hsinchu, Taiwan
