Hours: Part Time - 24 hours - 8:30 AM - 9:30 PM (2 days/week) - Rotating holidays & weekends required

Location: Hudson, MA

Type of Practice: Walk-In / Same Day Services (ReadyMed)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of duties involving clinical and administrative patient care while adhering to the standards of the practice

• Provide care to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients

• Assist in the examination and treatment of patients by taking and recording vital signs such as blood pressures, temperatures, height, weight, etc.

• Assist physician and others with simple to moderate clinical/diagnostic procedures such as urine cultures, pregnancy tests, throat cultures, etc.

• Prepare treatment rooms

• Perform a variety of clerical functions to support office functions

• Perform related duties to facilitate the efficient utilization of computer-based information

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• Medical assistant education or Medical Assistant experience (experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant or EMT meets this qualification)

• CPR/BLS Certification or willing to obtain within 90 days of employment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant

Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description, may be substituted for the above requirements.
