American Autocoat Inc. Process Technician-Mold Changer 3rd shift in Hudsonville, Michigan
Molding Process Technician - Full-time, 3rd Shift (7:30 pm to 6:00 am Sunday-Wed. with OT on Thurs) Under minimal supervision, responsible for developing robust injection molding processes, tooling, and automation processes on new product launches, as well as, troubleshooting problems with existing processes.
- *Prior experience utilizing scientific molding principles, process validation, and design of experiments to improve quality and reduce scrap costs. *
- Demonstrated mechanical and problem solving ability. Will be working with other Technical people.
- Ability to diagnose problems, perform minor machine repairs, mold changes and build end of arm tooling.
- Ability to develop short and long term plans with appropriate communication with team, customers, vendors, and other internal departments.
- Provides leadership, mentoring and training for shift team. Must have flexibility to work other shifts when required. This position will report to Molding Manager.
- Associate degree or technical training preferred and 3-5 years of experience in a Process Tech / Mold Tech. role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
