Tri State Transit Dial A Ride Operator or Driver in Huntington, West Virginia
Opportunity to advance to bus operator or other positions within TTA if certain conditions are met. You must have a valid driver's license with good driving record. Prior to hire, a class E license would have to be converted to a class D license. This is accomplished at the DMV for a fee (at your expense). Class A, B or C CDL's are acceptable and don't have to be converted. You must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. You must be able to pass a pre-employment DOT Physical and pre-employment DOT Drug Screen which TTA will pay for. You must submit to a background check. *Also seeking Paratransit Operators responsible for 20-25 foot long van designed to transport 14 passengers or less. Providing transportation service for persons who are transportation disabled as a result of physical or mental disabilities. Dial a ride van operator must be skilled in customer relations which include courtesy and respect. Safely board and deboard passengers, accurate fare collection and record keeping along with regulation of lighting, heating & air.
