Work you'll do

  • Support the Equal Opportunity and Diversity Management function of our client in implementing federal EO operations and developing policies, processes, and procedures, as applicable to the Agency's workforce.

  • Deliver a verbal and/or written report and maintain historical files after task execution.

  • Support project studies and develop material for publication to include articles/materials for EO items of interest such as newsletters, instructions or letters to workforce on subjects within the cognizance of the EO Office.

  • Develop and maintain EO communications tools and procedures such as the EO Quarterly Newsletter, EO Communications Roundtable, policy memoranda, EO portal page and other special programmatic communiqué.

  • Support the EO by researching, reviewing, and monitoring HR personnel policies and practices to identify potential barriers in hiring, recruitment, and retention.

  • Collect and maintain data and draft coordinated response with background data for answering quick-response taskings from internal and external sources.

  • Support EO in gathering relevant data from HR and other stakeholders for the development, revision, staffing, and submission of the reports

  • Supporting the development, revision, and publication of the Diversity & Inclusion Strategic Plan. Efforts may include but are not limited to

  • Gathering and analyzing data from identified sources.

  • Entering data into databases to assist with analysis, identification of goals and action planning tracking.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of HR experience

  • Active DOD Secret security clearance required

  • Experience implementing Equal Opportunity operations and developing applicable policies, processes, and procedures.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint).

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

  • Strong background in workforce analytics

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to manage small engagements or work streams and multiple team members with confidence

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills

  • Experience developing and maintaining Equal Opportunity communications tools and procedures such as the EO Quarterly Newsletter, EO Communications Roundtable, policy memoranda, EO portal page and other special programmatic communiqué

  • Experience evaluating and preparing reports on various personnel actions impacting affirmative employment objectives of the client; making input to these reports and recommendations on actions affecting affirmative employment.
