About Harsco GSC

Harsco GSC handles a wide range of services, finance and accounting shared services, global HR shared services, providing IT Service and helpdesk support and market research support to Harsco globally. We are Operating since 2008 & Serving 30+ Countries

• 3 - 5 years of Azure PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS experience, including deploying and supporting custom-developed enterprise solutions.

• Azure PaaS services include App Services, Storage Accounts, and SQL Azure.

• 4+ years of build and deployment automation (Continuous Integration/Delivery), Classic/YAML experience in Azure DevOps.

• Evaluate, select, design and configure security infrastructure systems in a global environment

• Good knowledge of Windows Server, IIS, and Azure DevOps is a must.

• Assist with complex projects and ongoing support of security operations.

• Knowledge of various DBs – Oracle, MS SQL.

• Knowledge of Monitoring (using tools like Azure Monitoring, Azure Dashboards), Azure Automation Accounts, and Azure Security.

• Basic query knowledge on App Insights and Log Analytics.

• Experience in managing configuration for Azure cloud-based Application Development and Implementation understands the various aspects of the DevOps strategy, writes scripts, creates CI/CD pipelines, automates testing workflow, automates infrastructure, collaborates, and communicates with others.

• PowerShell scripting using AZ module and Shell Scripting / BASH on Linux.

• Good Working knowledge of code scanning tools like, Fortify and Sonar Qube.

• General knowledge of network, Firewalls, FrontDoor, Load Balancers, and Application Gateways.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Good technical documentation skills; workflows and support documentation

• Responsible for implementing automation where needed, creating/improving monitoring strategies, and maintaining and optimizing Azure-based infrastructure.

• Automation on Azure to build IAC (Infrastructure as code) for Enterprise level apps. (Terraform or Bicep is must)

• Configure Terraform, AZ Cli templates, and modules.

• Infrastructure deployments

• Implement build and release pipelines for both cloud and on-premises solutions

• Monitor and support the deployment of both cloud and on-prem applications via automation tools and practices

• Respond to service requests in your team’s queue

• Participate in on-call rotations that occur during regular hours within your time zone

• Good understanding of firewalls, load balancer required

• Support Critical applications and infra deployments

• Cost Management.

• Knowledge of ITIL and ticketing tools as ServiceNow, Remedy etc.

• Excellent communication, both oral and written, and interpersonal skill

• Experience working with global teams

• Possess and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of IT infrastructure to the

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team and analyze infrastructure security problems with speed and efficiency.
