Description

The scope of a Learning Experience Designer (LXD) in ADS is for an individual contributor independently responsible for the full cycle of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) for development of learning experiences to address complex or ambiguous problems. The LXD has expert level LXD-skills across ADDIE, adult learning theories, visual experience design and assessment methodologies using rapid authoring tools that can adapt to a range of delivery methods (i.e. in-person or vILT, e-Learning, blended, microlearning such as videos, infographics, job aids, etc.). The LXD leverages this expert skill to optimize procedures and share best practices with less experienced LXDs. The LXD has 3+ year program management experience or 2+ years of experience as a Learning Experience Designer.

A LXD uses knowledge and skill to decide which actions to take while leading program level and curriculum-level LXD goals and moderately impacts team goals. A LXD is able to design short-term solutions and deliver independently on defined program strategy, and seeks limited guidance on business problem and solutions. The LXD is also expected to analyze curriculum metrics post launch, to make recommendations for improvement.

The AGI- DS organization is engaged in the data processing to support the voice recognition for Alexa, the cloud-based service that powers devices like Amazon Echo, Echo Show, Echo Plus, Echo Spot, Echo Dot, and more. The Alexa service is always getting smarter, both for features, and for natural language understanding and accuracy. The KM (Knowledge Management) team is responsible for driving high quality training content for data associates located across the globe. This includes creating engaging process and tool content, including instructor-led training, E-Learning and self-paced learning, blended learning, virtual classroom design, building tool kits and study guides, and performance support aids for all global sites.

Do you like developing technical training, including video creation, instructional design and graphic design to create high impact training curriculum? AGI - DS is looking for innovative learning professionals to support the development of engaging digital training for our front-line data associates.

As a Training Content Specialist, you will be an eLearning developer creating digital assets using standard instructional software tools to develop training that will inspire our learner population.

Roles and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Develop learning solutions using eLearning development tools, which include using storyboards and design direction to create digital assets such as videos, graphics, and modules.

• Ability to rapid develop digital assets to support course content for a frequently changing environment.

• Strong video editing and development skills

• Partnering with Learning Experience Designers to produce high quality eLearning content

• Support curriculum maintenance reviews for developed training and update learning assets according to maintenance cycles.

• Design and Develop templates

• Experience with SCORM requirements.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of design experience

  • Have an available online portfolio

  • Experience working with agile development teams (agile/scrum/kanban)

  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suit applications, with high proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat using macOS

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with e-commerce, search, social, and other major application types and their UX patterns

  • Experience creating services and applications with multiple user touch points on different platforms and devices
