Oracle Principal Database Developer in HYDERABAD, India

Job Description

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of professional Database Development experience in Oracle DB and PL/SQL.

  • Extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data warehouses including data modeling.

  • Strong experience in developing and maintaining ETL processes.

  • Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures and functions in Oracle 19c+.

  • Expertise in performance analysis and tuning of Oracle databases, including query tuning, database monitoring, troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with SQL Server and TSQL is a big plus.

  • Experience as a database developer developing large-scale data-intensive applications is a plus.

  • Experience with multi-tenancy architectures in Oracle databases is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to come up with proven solutions for business/product needs/problems.

  • Understanding and supporting existing data engineering solutions and processes and identifying opportunities for redesign and implementing them.

  • Providing expert guidance to cross functional development teams and reviewing the performance.

  • Need to have very strong troubleshooting skills.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
