Job Description

The ideal candidate has strong programming skills, software design experience, leadership experience and prior experience in Oracle applications

Qualifications

Mandatory

1. Bachelors or Masters Degree (B.E./B.Tech./MCA/M.Tech./M.S.) from reputed universities with 5 - 8 years experience in software development.

2. Proven leadership experience in driving projects with teams to delivery.

3. Strong programming, debugging and testing skills.

4. Experience with performance analysis of java flight recordings, memory heap dumps, weblogic stuck threads.

5. Strong software design skills.

Optional, nice to have

1. Experience in Oracle application development

Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include

1. Design and drive the development productivity tools with a focus on code quality and performance.

2. Debug, analyze and resolve performance issues in the java and weblogic stack.

3. Drive research and uptake initiatives across the organization with an emphasis on planning and delivery.

4. Mentor, coach and lead developers.

As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
