Business Applications & Platforms (BAP) team builds the Dynamics 365 suite of business applications and the Power Platform suite of low-code platforms. BAP Community Platform is at the heart of enabling a thriving and engaged user community with millions of users across all BAP products.

As a Software Engineer in the Business Applications Platform – Community Platform team you will work with senior business and technology leaders and internal business users and Partners to conceive, design and implement Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications and pick the best technical architecture to meet the scale and performance requirements for the platform.

This role requires an individual with very strong hands-on experience in building Power platforms, portals and Dynamics solutions at Enterprise Scale Implementations and skills in communication to enable the success of critical projects.

In addition to this, success in this role requires someone who is strong at coming up with the right architecture, able to go broad and connect the dots between the different system within the portfolio as well as able to dive into details.

In this role, you will also need to work closely with Program Managers in their feature areas to ensure that partner and customer requirements are thoroughly understood and reflected in future product releases. Another responsibility associated with this position is helping to design the product to overcome and eliminate challenges facing Enterprise organizations, and to provide our customers and Partners with deeper guidance on how best to leverage Dynamics 365 and Power platform

Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

• Designing and building robust, scalable applications using Power Platform, CRM

• Be responsible for the technical design of features in your area

• Embrace new technologies and use new and proven methodologies when writing code

• Own quality of your code (i.e., unit tests, TDD, ATDD and other test methodologies)

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

• 2-4 years in software development in a distributed services environment

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS or similar cloud computing platforms

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with Power Apps, Portals / Power Pages and Dynamics 365

• Strong problem-solving and design skills

• Strong communication and critical thinking abilities.

• Ability to work with multiple partner teams to deliver impact.
