Make a Difference

Application Analysts will be a knowledgeable authority for their primary areas of responsibility and provide support to other teams and Community Health Network end users as appropriate. Consistently demonstrates effective communication and team building skills. Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of a particular field of specialization to the completion of moderately difficult assignments/tasks. These assignments/tasks may include planning, system analysis, application building, testing, maintenance, and support. Application Analysts may also be involved with completing special project work as assigned and under the guidance of their manager/mentor. The Application Analyst also understands the interdependencies of the applications they support and follows project management methodologies as necessary.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Associate degree in information technology or healthcare related field preferred.

· A minimum of one or more years of healthcare and/or relevant IT experience required.

· Knowledge of at least one of the following applications is preferred: AmeriPath, Data Innovations, Epic Beaker, LabCorp, NovaNet POC, Quest Diagnostics, RALS, SoftBank.

· Oversees and coordinates all server and application upgrades/updates.

· Understands basic server operating system and database architecture.

· Manages and maintains relationships with vendors to ensure consistent platform support.

· Articulates options and recommendations to leaders to assist with decisions on proposed solutions or functionality.
