About This Role

We are seeking a FP&A Analyst within the HVAC Americas Operations Finance organization. The successful candidate will:

  • Drive process improvements around freight analytics, reporting and month end processes.

  • Support the monthly volume/rate analysis of freight spend

  • Standardize reporting around key metrics to improve visibility and aid in productivity reviews

  • Collaborate with Transportation team to bring multiple data sources together and improve cross-functional reporting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete analyses to aid with monthly financial reporting

  • Use historical financial freight data to support freight planning and forecasting

  • Support productivity analyses and tracking

  • Improve data quality and integrity by working with Freight Bill Audit provider and Ops Accounting team

  • Provide support for ad hoc requests including retrieving, cleaning and providing accurate data

  • Analyze actual results vs. prior year, plan and forecast

  • Assist in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities and customer satisfaction opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 3+ years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role

  • Passion for servicing customers. Ability to listen to customer needs and quickly act to solve their problems, go above and beyond to exceed their expectations

  • Proven ability to execute with speed and exhibit a bias for action mindset

  • Ability to think outside the box, innovate, take risks, and implement progressive sustainable solutions

  • Strong ability to work in diverse, cross-functional project teams to achieve high levels of performance in a dynamic, changing environment. Successful experience with collaborating and developing teams and working in a matrix environment

  • Proven track record of process improvement and driving projects to conclusions.

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Ability to analyze disparate information and draw conclusions and make robust recommendations

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to maneuver through organizational boundaries and be resourceful in a complex supply chain organization

  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and Access

  • Experience with SAP and Business Intelligence
