Job Summary

Summary: Responsible for clerical functions and administrative support of food & beverage service programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Configure back-end programming of items across point-of-sale systems.

  • Maintain Digital Menu Boards are showing the correct menu items and pricing using IPTV

  • Set up points-of-sale (POS) with and connect necessary peripheral devices (credit card readers, printers, etc)

  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate Point of Sale devices

  • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc)

  • Answers user inquiries regarding computer and POS software or hardware operation to resolve problems

  • Read technical manuals, confer with users and/or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems

  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests

  • Setting up accounts for new users

  • Repairing and replacing equipment, as necessary

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Answer telephones and direct inquires in a professional and client centric manner.

  • Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, school personnel, administrators, student's parents and Supervisor.

  • Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required.

  • Maintain clean and safe work environment; ability to perform job safely.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
