The Role

Are you a maintenance whiz with a passion for keeping things in tip-top shape? We need someone like you to be the guardian of our production space! You'll chat with equipment suppliers, keep our tools happy, and make sure everything runs smoothly.

Job Description

Creative Works is seeking a building and machinery maintenance professional to oversee the upkeep of materials, tools, and maintenance of equipment within the production space. A successful candidate in this position would be communicating with equipment suppliers and other vendors to maintain and repair equipment as needed. The organization and upkeep of production and office spaces as well as doing some basic production tasks are expected.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to building maintenance requests quickly
  • Management of tool inventory, repair, and kit preparation
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on CNC machinery, Forklifts, air compressors, paint booths, HVAC, etc.
  • Maintain professional relationships with equipment suppliers and contact them as necessary
  • Manage the flow of miscellaneous incoming goods and maintain an organized space within the production floor
  • Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
  • Oversees and inspects the work performed by outside contractors. Contracted work includes landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, HVAC/R, plumbers, and cleaning.
  • Clean floors in the morning with M20 Floor scrubber
  • Schedule service for company vehicles
  • Basic production tasks around the shop as time allows
  • Runs for materials when production is in a pinch

Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of previous machine maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems
  • A clean criminal background
  • Valid drivers license
  • Mechanically inclined with skills in carpentry, welding, electrical, and plumbing
  • Lift and carry 50lbs
  • Stand and walk for sustained periods of time, bend, reach, push, and pull
  • Cl mb stairs and ladders
  • Forklift and scissor lift experience preferred

Pay and Benefits:

  • Full-Time, Non-Exempt
  • 5:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday

*This is an onsite position located at our facility on the southwest side of Indianapolis, IN near I-465 and Sam Jones Expressway.
