Insight Global partners with a large Agriculture/Manufacturing company and will be facilitiating the hiring process for an SAP Treasury and Hedging Solution Engineer (SE) for S/4HANA global solution spanning multiple countries over North America, Europe, LATAM, and Asia-Pacific as part of the Digital & Platforms ERP Finance team. The ideal candidate has recent experience conceptualizing, designing, implementing and supporting SAP-Treasury solutions, including Hedging. The SE will be responsible for engineering, configuring, testing, and maintaining the SAP S/4HANA and surrounding Treasury, Cash-flow and Hedging solutions during the entire application lifecycle.

The role requires strong knowledge of business processes within SAP S4-Treasury overall, and its interaction with S4-Finance (especially, AP and AR), and other non-SAP Treasury & Financial systems. This position defines and drives the strategy of putting engineering elements in place to support the organization's Treasury vision and IT systems in the medium to long term. It involves discovering, validating, and mapping Treasury business function through interviewing, research, seeking industry trends and developments, leveraging them for modeling, prototyping, simulating and analyzing current and future states using SAP-Treasury, to provide robust scalable solutions.

The SE must be able to bridge the IT and business domains and effectively communicate with SAP Business Process Experts, configurators and other SEs within Enterprise IT to develop a consistent end-to-end SAP-Treasury solution. The SE will thoroughly understand the company's Treasury and Hedging business strategy and processes to help manage the ERP-Finance Product Roadmap.

This role will...

* Manage the quarterly S4 upgrade process through evaluation, regression testing, and deployment.

* Help with SAP-Treasury Security role design.

* Own the service delivery of end-to-end SAP Treasury applications in the Production environment.

* Design & maintain integration of SAP Treasury with SAP-Finance and other non-SAP platforms for cash-application, reconciliation, and monitoring.

* Understand business processes related to Financial Instruments hedging, such as intercompany loans and derivatives e.g. FX options and FX forwards, or Commodities hedging.

* Translate and map business processes to enable design in SAP-TR, Hedging and surrounding applications. Help cull out end-to-end functional and non-functional system requirements, including integration with other non-SAP tools and systems surrounding the S/4 platform.

* Independently prototype SAP solutions to meet end-to-end Treasury & Hedging requirements, and define work-breakdown structure for a configuration and development team to develop a cohesive working solution.

* Engineer SAP TRM configuration and enhancements for a robust and scalable solution.

* Envision critical scenarios, and points-of-failure in end-to-end process and define relevant test cases. Perform end-to-end functional and non-functional testing of system in meeting requirements, including unit-testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and performance testing.

* Write system design documents, including detailed and technical design, update requirements traceability, test scenarios, and cases.

* Identify & define process and systems' dependencies while implementing new SAP functionality in the context of ongoing enterprise business and IT initiatives.

* Understand requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, provide estimates, suggest process and technology improvements.

This position offers $45-75/hr on contract.

Skills and Requirements

* 5+ years of functional experience implementing and supporting SAP Treasury (ECC or S4 HANA).

* Service delivery of 2+ end-to-end SAP Treasury Risk Management applications: Hedging (required), Multi-Bank Connectivity (most preferred), Credit Risk and Market data management (most preferred), Cash Management, In-house Cash, Payments, Trading Platform Integration, Short and long-term investments and Debt instruments, and Loans management (FS-CML).

* Experience using FX Option or FX Forward derivatives as underlying instruments.

* Ability to perform end-to-end functional and non-functional testing, including unit-testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and performance testing. * Demonstrated histoy of learning other areas of SAP TRM.

* Functional experience with Treasury and Hedging functions in large, global companies (this role supports 60 countries globally).

* Experience in Oil & Gas, Utilities or Financial Services industries.

* Big 5 consulting experience.

* SAP Treasury Security role design experience.

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Treasury or related field.

* Experience integrating SAP Treasury with SAP Finance and other non-SAP platforms for cash-application, reconciliation, and monitoring.

* Experience working with large vendor partners and suppliers, and 3rd party contractors.

* Experience with commodities futures, margin payments, or options instruments.

* CPA / CFA or equivalent advanced degree.

* Experience with SWIFT integration services, ISO20022, and non-SAP Supply Chain Finance solutions.

* Solution design experience demonstrating understanding and handling of various Treasury business processes' design.

* SAP integration experience with 3rd party platforms like Serrala, FIS, 360T, IT2, Bloomberg etc. null
