Job Summary

Summary: Manages the operations of concession stands and performs a variety of concessions duties while providing a pleasant guest experience. At Gainbridge Fieldhouse sporting events, our concession stands are operated by volunteer groups. The primary role of a Stand Lead is to supervise and support these volunteers during an event.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages the operations of a concession stand, while assisting team members and maintaining a safe environment throughout operating hours.

• Oversee and train volunteer group members.

• Delegate tasks to volunteer group members based on skill.

• Greets, directs, and responds to guest’s questions and needs.

• Displays a positive attitude toward teammates, volunteers, and managers.

• Understands menu offerings, presentation and pricing.

• Maintains a high standard of organization.

• Adheres to location appearance guidelines.

• Ensures all products are displayed and merchandised properly.

• Enforces food safety/sanitation guidelines in assigned location.

• Communicate with Supervisor regarding needs.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Leadership experience is required.

• Excellent verbal communication skills.

• Food service experience is preferred.

• It is strongly recommended that candidates are 21+ years of age.

• Must be willing to complete ServSafe Alcohol Certification course.
