The Position

The Medical Affairs Head of Target Population Outcomes (MA-TPO) will be responsible for building a new framework to guide teams in identifying, measuring, and monitoring the impact of TPOs and educating teams on how to use these measures to monitor the success of our programs pre- and post-launch.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • In your new role you will build a new “Target Population Outcomes” team with full responsibility for hiring, fully supporting the development of team members and maintaining key skills.

  • You will develop, implement, and continuously evolve cutting-edge Medical Affairs capabilities including stakeholder engagement, insight collection, medical communications and continuous learning on understanding and addressing external stakeholder needs.

  • You will partner with the members of the Global Clinical Practice Team and the team leader to build and lead collaborations with external partners to develop TPOs that enable teams to measure our preparedness for successful launch of our assets.

  • As Head of Target Population Outcomes, you will design training and lead the development of novel TPO measures in collaboration with key countries.

  • In addition, you will lead close cross-functional collaborations and lead external collaborations with asset and country teams to develop TPOs that are defines by external stakeholders (patients, payers, policy makers).

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or MBA in Pharmacy or Natural Sciences with several years of professional experience in medical affair roles within the pharmaceutical industry, PhD is preferable

  • Deep understanding of external healthcare landscape, specifically HCS and delivery of care in one or more countries with high competency in external stakeholder management

  • Demonstrated deep knowledge of external partnerships, implementation science and measuring external outcomes defined by external stakeholders

  • Collaborative leadership skills, successfully proven in project team settings, and proven ability to deliver results

  • Excellent communication, strong self-motivation and networking skills as well as the ability to work independently in a highly complex field

  • Fluency in English and German – written and spoken
