Job Description

Insight global is looking for an Accountant III. In this role, youll handle monthly accounting activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations. Youll prepare and review general ledger account reconciliations and perform financial analyses to identify trends and support estimates like accruals and reserves. Monthly product costing and inventory reconciliation are also part of your duties.

Youll collaborate with various departments to prepare and report financial results, support SEC disclosure reporting, and ensure the effectiveness of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls. Working with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews is essential. Youll identify and implement process improvements for efficiency, standardization, and enhanced reporting. Promoting a strong safety culture by following safety policies and addressing workplace hazards is crucial. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business, Business Administration, or related field

4+ years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

CPA, CMA, or CFA certification

Experience with SAP and JDE accounting software

Proficient in MS Office suite Previous Energy related experience

Enterprise transformation experience null
