Stantec Project Manager - Water in Ireland, Ireland

Stantec along with joint venture partner Ryan Hanley, are excited to have been appointed to deliver a programme of capital works on the Uisce Eireann Engineering Design Services Framework.

This supports Uisce Eireann's Business Plan objectives up to 2027, which will see a €3.5bn investment in asset delivery across three primary portfolios: Wastewater Capital, Networks and Water Capital.

We are currently seeking Project Managers to join us. We are flexible with location so the position can be based in either of our offices in Dublin or Belfast, or in our JV offices in Cork, Galway or Castlebar, although we are happy to consider elsewhere.

You will take on an important role delivering challenging capital programmes for our Water clients. You will be involved in supporting and assisting in the delivery of project environmental objectives and targets. As Project Manager, you will be working closely with our technical and commercial teams as well as building close relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will be delivering projects from cradle to grave and will ensure that they are delivered on time, to cost and of a high quality.

About you

To be considered for this opportunity you must be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Engineering, or a relevant subject. It is also desirable that you are chartered or are working towards an appropriate Project Management qualification such as APMP.

You will have experience within the regulated water industry with a consultancy and have experience of working with utilities and/ or water companies. You will have experience in the preparation of project bids, planning, working to stringent timescales and adhering to budgets. You will have strong client facing experience with a demonstrable track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Your passion and experience of delivering quality design solutions is most crucial to your success in this role. You will be ambitious, forward thinking and have a desire to better your career.
