Patients will rely upon you as the critical link to their dental health provider, and our clinical team will rely upon you to manage treatment follow-up, ensuring timely fulfillment of patients' needs.

Position Specifics & Requirements

  • Full-Time (32+ hours/week) or Part-Time (<32 hours/week), on-site in Iron Mountain
  • Phone Certification, OSHA / CPR Knowledge, HIPAA Confidentiality Standards (In-House Training)
  • Work both independently and collaboratively with team members
  • Maintain dependable and punctual attendance in accordance with schedule
  • Handle multiple tasks, project assignments and deadlines efficiently and effectively
  • Adhere to all operations' best practices, adapting to new technologies and processes as developed

Essential Position Responsibilities & Duties

  • Check-in: Greet patients in a cheerful and professional manner; update and maintain patient records; provide appropriate and necessary forms upon arrival; offer refreshments.
  • Reception Status & Updates: Monitor reception area for neatness, cleanliness; freshen literature, refreshment supply; prepare muffins; monitor day's schedule to advise clinical team of patients' arrival, delay or cancellation.
  • Communications: Answer telephone and incoming emails to schedule appointments; collect and file documentation (both paper and electronic); draft correspondence, respond to patient and third-party requests; prepare and submit necessary forms for obtaining medical records, medication requests.
  • New Patient Experience: Provide tour of facility, review practice history, complete paperwork including patient-specific smile evaluation.
  • Finance Advisor: Collect payment for treatment; process financial commitments for upcoming procedures; maintain petty cash; prepare bank deposits.
  • Operations Assistant: Other responsibilities and duties as they are assigned.
