As the Manager, Pricing Strategy and Operations, you’ll act as a key consultative partner to the US Surgical sales team, working hand in hand to produce innovative customer offerings while building tools and solutions to simplify and organize how we do business.

How you will make an impact:

• Acts as the primary strategic pricing & contracting consultant to the US Sales Organization. Pairing market knowledge with analytical expertise to help shape and influence deal strategy and structure.

• Identifies and implements pricing & contracting strategies, processes, and tools to be leveraged throughout the contract’s life cycle; instituting defined & scalable processes that drive both increased effectiveness and efficiency.

• Develops, maintains, and communicates learnings & best practices from prior deals, including structure, objectives, and use cases, with a goal of raising overall pricing & contracting acumen across the Sales Organization.

• Establishes and manages effective price controls and governance policies (including leading business unit Price Committee reviews) to maintain broad price discipline and drive desired growth / profitability.

• Distills large datasets into concise stories through various medium (ad-hoc reports, data models, dashboards) to drive sales insight, effective decision-making, and enable action.

What you’ll need (Required):

• Bachelor's Degree in related field of study, 8+ years previous relevant healthcare/medical device sales operations experience required, or 6 years of relevant sales operations experience with a Master's Degree.

What else we look for (Preferred):

• Experience working hand in hand with Sales reps in a strategic pricing & contracting function

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey insights effectively through ad-hoc reports, presentations, and data models.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate complex data into meaningful narratives that guide decision-making.

• Project management skills to ensure projects are fully scoped and delivered in a timely manner.

• Experience managing cross functional partnerships, communicating needs, and maintaining close coordination (Customer Solutions, Marketing, Sales Leaders).

• Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and modeling.

For California, the base pay range for this position is $115,000 to $163,000 (highly experienced).
