Position Summary: Oversee day-to-day activities within Corporate Services

How you will make an impact:

  • Manage and oversee the work of onsite services for the Irvine locations (e.g., mailroom, printer management, reception, etc.) and may indirectly manage cross functional or matrix teams as appropriate. Lead the development and execution of milestone and change management plans for onsite services programs and communicate status and data to informed stakeholders.

  • Manage activities with the accountability for successful completion of all deliverables. Identify risk, develop mitigation strategies, alternative solutions, resolve issues, action item follow up in collaboration with cross functional and/or matrix teams including vendor negotiations and manage supplier contracts.

  • Provide input to senior management on supplier performance and/or selections.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of supplier services strategy. Lead the RFP process for onsite suppliers.

  • Evaluate and develop guidelines and procedures for onsite services programs. Develop strategies to overcome objections/obstacles and build partnerships.

  • Recommend policy revisions to reduce cost and/or improve service, mitigate risks, and reflect best practices Influence compliance through effective communication and change management.

  • Define corporate services operational workflows in collaboration with cross functional teams (e.g., construction, facilities, and security)

  • Contribute to annual fiscal planning; annual budget preparation, forecasting, analysis, reporting within area.

  • Define reporting requirements, review and validate data to measure program effectiveness.

  • Develop a robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies of the department

  • Incidental: Establish and maintain resources and tools to facilitate consistent, high-quality standards and best-in-class service for employees

What you will need (required):

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in corporate services, hospitality, and/or facilities operations

  • Demonstrated track record in people management

What else we look for (preferred):

  • Proven successful project management leadership skills

  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

  • Expert understanding of onsite services procedures while addressing issues with impact beyond own team based on knowledge of related disciplines

  • Expert understanding of onsite service operations and supplier management, including experience in developing policies

  • Knowledge of financial mechanism that relates to onsite serviceDemonstrated ability to manage assigned team and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relationsAbility to develop and integrate metrics into the projects and operations that clearly demonstrate the value of onsite services to the business

  • Strict attention to detail

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels

  • Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment

  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California, the base pay range for this position is $115,000 to $163,000 (highly experienced).
